I've just built a new PC with the following specs:
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T CPU
Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 mobo
8GB G.Skill DDR3 1600 RAM
Thermaltake 750W modular power supply
XFX RADEON HD 5570 ATI graphics card
3 x UAD-1
1 x Powercore PCI
RME Multiface with PCIe card
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
1 x 1TB 7200 WD drive
1 x 2TB 5400 WD drive
Samsung DVD-RW
The mobo must have BIOS version F3 to run the 1090T CPU. I had to send mine to Gigabyte UK to get it flashed before I could install the CPU. I've also used the recommended G.Skill RAM for this mobo. Everything has installed correctly and so far the UAD-1's are working fine with ACID Pro 7 and Vegas Pro 9. I initially had a problem installing one of the UAD-1 cards because Win 7 wouldn't load but after a couple of tries it worked fine.
I'm amazed everything installed so easily but I'll have to give it a thorough good testing to make sure there aren't any problems. So far I think this is a verified working Win 7 64-bit/AMD six core system for UAD-1. I'll report back if there are any problems.
It cost me at least a third less than it would have cost to buy an equivalent PC in a shop so building a PC works out a lot cheaper.
Oh and it's very fast and powerful!
